Welcome to painting at beautiful Milner Gardens & Woodland in Qualicum Beach. This idyllic garden and teahouse is an artist’s dream in a peaceful setting listed as One of the Ten Best Public Gardens in Canada – Canadian Geographic Travel.

Our sessions will begin at 10:00 am with a 9:45 shuttle available at the main gate. Please notify the shuttle that you are a workshop participant. You may also park in the general visitor parking and walk in.

You are most welcome to use extra brushes, pigments, watercolour paper etc. provided on a share basis.
The Camellia Tea Room is located in the drawing room of the historic Milner House.
Afternoon Tea is served with assorted baked goods and freshly baked scones, served with jam (made with fruit from the garden) every afternoon when the Gardens are open.

Driving
Milner Gardens and Woodland is located in Qualicum Beach, BC, a 2 1/2 hour drive north of Victoria, or 40 minutes north of Nanaimo. Take Highway 19 north to the Qualicum Beach exit, drive straight through Qualicum Beach on Memorial Avenue to the water, turn right on West Island Highway. Milner Gardens and Woodland is about 2 km (1.2 mi) on your left. There is parking at the entrance.
