The Grand Prix of Art founder Mark Glavina shows off the impressive trophy awaiting the winner of this year’s expanded event
Sat Sept 19 See you at the Grand Prix of Art in Steveston BC! This exciting annual outdoor painting event hosted by Richmond Artists Guild, Phoenix Art Workshop and the Travellingbrush.com originated in Qualicum Beach 20 years ago and has expanded to Delta as well. Years ago the event was introduced to Steveston BC and has just gotten better and better, becoming a huge success in each town and has evolved into what has become the Grand Prix of Art Circuit. Competing artists travel from location to location competing in this unique and exciting contest, collecting points and receiving awards. Each year a Grand Prix Champion is crowned and receives the coveted Dan Gray cup award.
