Qualicum Beach streets filled with plein air artists from Vancouver Island British Columbia, the surrounding Lower Mainland areas and beyond this summer, and the beat goes on! The “Grand Prix Circuit” hosted by Phoenix Art Workshops located in Steveston British Columbia and The Travelling Brush is an expanding event that visits Qualicum Beach, Ladner and Steveston British Columbia. The action isn’t over yet and you can head to the next event in Steveston BC on Sat Sept 20.
Plein air artists travel from location to location competing in the race, receiving awards and collecting points. Each year artists have the exciting opportunity to be dubbed the “Grand Prix Champion” and receive the Dan Gray cup.
