All edition prints are signed and numbered by Peggy Burkosky. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity to ensure integrity in edition runs. Every reasonable effort has been made to produce the best quality print to be found. These reproductions are called giclee (pronounced Gee'clay) prints, which is a french term meaning to spray or squirt. This printmaking process is exceptional, allowing for hues and tonalities found in the original artwork to be reproduced. The inks used in this process are Epson Ultrachrome acrylic imbibed pigments. Information on the technology of these inks may be found at www.epson.com . The inks are printed on Somerset Velvet (100% Cotton) Acid Free Archival Paper. Research and standardization of this printmaking process may be found at the Wilhem Imaging Research website – www.wilhelm-research.com click Print Permanence Ratings for Epson Stylus Pro 9600 Printer and Epson Ultrachrome Inks. After the shipping process your print may seem dramatically curled. Place the print on a smooth, hard surface and cover it with the enclosed tissue paper. If the curl does not relax within 24 hours, place a medium weight book on top of the tissue layer. If you live in a very dry climate it may take longer.
